46: Urgency, Patience and a Long Term Mindset in Network Marketing

My upline once shared this idea with me that it takes 10 years to create an overnight success. Some people spent those 10 years prior to being in their company, while others are developing as entrepreneurs and leaders IN their company.

What do I want you to get from this idea?

I don’t want you to get too down on yourself if it’s taking you longer than others to see the success you desire. Without a doubt there are people that have come into your business after you and are already having more success than you. If you’re not the absolute fastest, someone out there is faster than you.

At the end of the day what is important to you? “Winning the race” or getting to your desired destination? If it’s both that’s fine! But for most of you, you have a destination in mind. A goal you want to reach. A lifestyle you want to have.

Here’s the problem with 95% of people…

95% of people come into their business with a huge sense of urgency. They work hard, put in the hours, and really hustle… for about 3 weeks… or maybe even 3 months.

But at some point they realize that it’s going to take work AND time. The average person starts to lose their sense of urgency, their activity level decreases and guess what… They lose their momentum, their team loses momentum, and it takes them far longer than they would like to reach that level of success they want, and that’s if they haven’t already quit.

Maintain your sense of urgency AND a long term mindset

Is it possible? Do you think you can maintain both? Can you craft your mindset WHILE IN a high level of activity? Can you continue forward in your business even when logically it makes total sense to quit because you’re investing more in time and money than you’re getting back. Network marketing has this promise of time freedom and financial freedom. But are you willing to PAY UP FIRST and keep going UNTIL you get what you want?

…only you can answer that question, but…

Your story needs to be told!

Understand that your story will resonate with specific people. It might be because you were the “fastest” OR it might be because of your heart. It might be because despite NOT being the fastest you continued forward, pressed on, fought on and achieved what you did despite your limitations.

However that story can only be told if it’s created first…

My invitation to you is to maintain a high level of activity. To maintain a sense of URGENCY and A LONG TERM MINDSET.

Put your blinders on and have the mindset of “This is who I am, this is what I do, and it’s not going to change”!

Go crush it my friends!
