Reading List
My Top 10 Picks

Go Pro – 7 Steps to Becoming a Network Marketing Professional

Why is this book first on the list? Well, because it’s my number 1 suggestion. If you are new to network marketing I would recommend reading this book in your first week. If you are a seasoned pro, I’d recommend reading it at least twice a year. Eric Worre outlines each of the most important skills necessary to becoming a professional in the industry. He also outlines the importance of taking the business seriously, working hard, and approaching the business as a professional. This makes Go Pro the perfect book to hand to your new recruits.

The Slight Edge: Turning Simple Disciplines into Massive Success and Happiness

One of the attributes that I admire most is consistency. This book teaches the importance of incorporating daily tasks into your schedule that compound over time to create massive change in yourself and massive results in your business. Too many people sprint, then burn out, sprint, then burn out, sprint, then burn out, and the cycle continues. Overtime If you build your business like this you will likely create a negative association in your mind with work. Better, is to be consistent and persistent over time.

The Big Leap: Conquer Your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level

So far I’ve never met a human that does not have false beliefs and negative thought patterns that sabotage their success on some level. Can some people push through and succeed despite? Yes absolutely! Is it an easier road without the pot holes and speed bumps? For sure! This book is one of my very favorites for bringing awareness to what self sabotage beliefs are present and how to root them up. Learn how to stop upper-limiting! =)

Think and Grow Rich

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” In this book Napoleon Hill will work his classic magic and mold your mind into a success mindset. I’ve seen this book literally change people.

How To Win Friends and Influence People

People follow people that they like. If you don’t know how to influence people you are going to have a difficult time in network marketing. This book teaches the power of being genuinely interested in others, smiling, remembering and using peoples names, being a good listener, talking in terms of the other person’s interest and making others feel important. This is a classic and should be read by every person in multilevel marketing.

StrengthsFinder 2.0

This book will help you or your team members have a good idea of what your strengths are. Each book has a code to take an online quiz which will tell you your top 5 strengths out of 34 talent themes. Knowing your own strengths you can maximize those strengths for your success. Knowing your builders strengths, you can create an ecosystem with different individuals strengths.

Want to know a little about me? =) Here are my top 5 strengths:
1. Belief
2. Focus
3. Learner
4. Positive
5. Relator

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

I read this book while in High School. It was one of my first personal development books. It’s unlikely you will reach high levels of success in your company without these habits so why not speed up the process.

The seven habits are:
1. Be Proactive
2. Begin With The End In Mind
3. Put First Things First
4. Think Win-Win
5. Seek First To Understand, Then To Be Understood
6. Synergize
7. Sharpen The Saw

The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership: Follow Them and People Will Follow You

This is my favorite book on the subject of leadership. It is rich with principles that almost seem like they were written for network marketers specifically. This is a book to refer back to over and over again.

The Law of Divine Compensation: On Work, Money, and Miracles

This book is beautifully written and will help you understand the truth that you are meant to impact the world in a big way. The universe is designed to work with you for your success. It will help you distinguish between a job and a calling. It will also instill in you a vision of your worth and potential.

The Power of Intention: Learning to Co-create Your World Your Way

Of the 10 books on this list this is the only one that I have yet to read. Why did it make the list when so many other books could have taken it’s place? Well, it’s one of my wife Seantay’s absolute favorites. She convinced me to add it to the list. If you’re like her you’ll love it… haha

Building Your Business
My Top Tools

Rise of The Entrepreneur

Everyone even considering network marketing should own this documentary. It is hands down my favorite tool to help people understand the credibility and potential behind the model of multilevel marketing. This documentary addresses the ever increasing rate of change in the global economy and work environment, the displacement of jobs and absence of job security, and why network marketing is a good option for the individual with an entrepreneurial spirit. This documentary highlights today’s best experts and thought leaders and will change how you view work and wealth.

Online Business Tools For Network Marketers

Zoom.us Online Meeting and Webinar Service

There are SO many different ways to use Zoom. This is one of my very favorite online tools. We use zoom for team meetings online, team calls, mentoring sessions with leaders and builders, product intro classes and presentations and the list goes on… They have a free version but we just started out with the Pro account because we knew we would be doing presentations that would last more than 40 minutes. This is a MUST have tool for EVERY network marketer.

Email Marketing – Aweber

If you are currently, or want to be attracting leads through online marketing you are going to need an email service provider. Aweber is an affordable service that really has everything you’ll need in the beginning of your business. I use Aweber personally and have had a great experience with their service and their team.

Lead Pages

Lead pages is definitely one of the most valuable tools in my online tool belt. It allows me to create capture pages where I can offer someone a free gift in exchange for their name and email. Once I have their name and email I can really develop an awesome relationship with them by sending them great info through email (with Aweber). I love the analytics you get with leadpages. I also use Leadpages for webinar registration pages, sales pages and so much more. This is a must have tool!

Website Hosting – JustHost

If you want your own website, I highly recommend building it in a way that gives you ownership of it (not on blogger/wix/wordpress.com etc…). JustHost is my favorite web hosting service and only costs $3.49 per month. Many other hosting companies can cost $6 – $8 per month. It also comes with your first domain name completely free (which would normally cost up to $15). Their customer service is the real reason I have continued ot use JustHost. Because they are a smaller hosting company they are always trying to go above and beyond with their customer service. I hardly ever have to wait on hold for more than 30 seconds and they are super nice.

Website Theme – Divi From Elegant Themes

Your website will need a theme framework for you to work off. This is what make it so you don’t need to learn coding and all that techie stuff. I like the Divi theme by Elegant Themes because it has a drag and drop builder that is both easy to use and stunning to look at. The website you’re looking at right now was built off the Divi framework.
